What is Neuro EP?
Every thought, movement and sensation you have is carried by electrical signals. Neuro EP treatments use those signals to help your nervous system work better.
Neuro
Refers to your nervous system: your brain, spinal cord, and all the nerves in your body that connect to them.
EP
Stands for Electro-Physiology: how the nervous system functions using electrical signals.
The big idea
Your nervous system runs on electricity
All nerves in your body, including the nerves in your brain called neurons, generate and receive electrical signals. Those signals are what allow you to move, think and feel, as well as see, hear, smell and taste.
Neuro EP treatments are a collection of procedures and services that use electrophysiology tools to measure those signals and help improve every part of your nervous system, without medication and without surgery.
Because your brain’s electrical activity can be measured, it can be mapped. And because your brain can learn, that activity can be trained.
