Biofeedback
GSR, Hand Temperature & HR Biofeedback
Learn to calm your stress response using signals you can finally see.
GSR
sympathetic arousal
Temp
hand warming = relaxation
HR
heart rate response
Overview
What is GSR, Hand Temp & HR?
When you are stressed, your body changes in ways you rarely notice: tiny amounts of sweat increase the electrical conductance of your skin (galvanic skin response, or GSR), blood vessels in your hands narrow so your fingers cool, and your heart speeds up. These are direct windows into your sympathetic “fight or flight” system.
This form of biofeedback displays those signals in real time so you can learn to change them. As you relax, skin conductance falls, hands warm and heart rate settles, and you see it happen. Hand-warming biofeedback in particular has a long history of use for migraine and tension headaches, and all three signals are useful for anxiety and stress-related conditions.
How it works
Your treatment, step by step
-
01
Connect

-
02
Observe
You see how thoughts, breathing and posture change your signals.
-
03
Practice
Guided relaxation techniques help you move the signals in the right direction.
-
04
Transfer
