Conditions we treat
Vision
You see with your brain. We support both the eye and the visual brain.
Understanding vision
It starts with your brain activity
Your eyes collect light, but you actually “see” with your brain. Cells in the retina convert light into electrical signals that travel through the optic nerve to the visual cortex at the back of your brain, where vision is created. Conditions anywhere along that pathway, from the retina to the optic nerve to the visual cortex, can affect sight.
Neuro EP treatments can support both ends of the pathway: photobiomodulation targets the energy-hungry cells of the retina, and has been studied for dry age-related macular degeneration, while neurofeedback can target activity in the visual regions of the brain. Treatment is always coordinated with your eye care specialist.
Conditions we treat
- Macular degeneration
- NAION (non-arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy)
- Optic neuropathy
- Vision changes after stroke
Our approach
How Neuro EP treatments help
Every plan starts with a qEEG brain map, so treatment targets your specific pattern, not a generic protocol.
Support the retina
Red and near-infrared light support mitochondrial energy in retinal cells.
Train the visual brain
Neurofeedback can target activity in the occipital lobes, where vision is processed.
Coordinate your care
We work alongside your ophthalmologist or optometrist.
Recommended treatments
Services often used for vision
Red Light Therapy
Red wavelengths support cellular energy and circulation in the skin and superficial tissues.

Infrared and near-infrared light penetrate tissue to support mitochondrial energy production and healthy blood flow.
